a. Student Welfare Office
The Student Welfare Office falls under the Directorate of Academic Affairs. According to the Regulation of Administrative Services of the University of Thessaly (Government Gazette 129, Issue A, 20-6-1995), the Student Welfare Office deals with matters concerning degrees, student graduation ceremonies, scholarships, and, in general, all kinds of benefits provided to undergraduate students, apart from accommodation and meals.
In addition, the Student Welfare Office handles issues related to the representation of students in the governing bodies of the Higher Education Institution (HEI), as well as in other bodies and committees where student representation of the HEI is required.

b. PROSVASI – The Accessibility Center for Students with Disabilities at the University of Thessaly
PROSVASI means access in Greek and acts as the accessibility center of the University of Thessaly. The aim of PROSVASI is to enhance the academic, social and spatial access of students with disabilities at the University of Thessaly. PROSVASI offers multidimensional services, which primarily address the needs of students with disabilities, their volunteers, the academic and the administrative staff from every department of the University of Thessaly.

c. Counselling
The Student Counselling Service of the Laboratory of Psychology and Applications in Education gives students of all UTH departments the opportunity to receive psychological support and help in their personal hardships and concerns, should they wish to do so. They also have the opportunity to get training in management skills and problem solving in order to manage the difficulties they might be facing.

d. KESYPS – Student Counseling & Psychological Support Center of the University of Thessaly
KESYPS offers students of all Departments of the University of Thessaly, should they wish, the opportunity to receive psychological support and assistance for their personal difficulties and concerns, as well as to be trained in acquiring skills for managing and resolving problems they may be facing.

f. Gender Equality and Anti-Discrimination Committee
By decision of the Senate and in accordance with the law mandating the establishment of Gender Equality Committees in Universities, the first Gender Equality Committee (GEC) was created at the University of Thessaly.
